On Saturday the 15th of December 2007 Amee Jay Paplelra set a new women's world skateboarding high jump record of 40 inches (101cm) at the 2007 SPAUSA Women's World Record Sk8Fest. She also won the Open High Jump contest and became the 2007 SPAUSA/WFSA Women's Skateboarding High Jump World Champion for the second year in a row.
Then just for fun she set a first time ever women's world ramp skateboarding record by doing 16 consecutive fakie Smith stalls.Everyone had a great time watching the contest, enjoing the excitement of seeing records being set, drinking Kronik Energy drinks and listening to the raw blast of Ben Farquar's Lenins Landlord punk band.
